Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Material Handler :

• Maintains warehouse in a neat, organized and safe manner
• Maintains raw materials inventory and printed inventory first-in/first-out system
• Completes general preventative maintenance on different forklifts to ensure that the equipment is in a safe operating condition Maintains records to show the preventative maintenance performed and dated
• Inspects and verifies incoming and outgoing materials against documents and records shortages and damaged goods
• Follows detailed procedures or instructions to perform warehouse work which involves receiving, storing, and shipping supplies, material, and equipment
• Work is usually repetitive and involves unloading, stacking, rotating and marking stock in accordance with standardized operating instructions

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Reporting skills and writing skills, Microsoft Office and Excel
• Verbal communication, problem solving, supply management, Organization, filing, professionalism, telephone skills, meeting/planning, deadline-oriented, multi-tasking, data entry skills, attention to detail, basic math skills, & dependability
• People skills
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• High school diploma required, be able to lift 10 lbs - 50 lbs
• Background check and Drug screening required
