As a Security Officer - Retail Site - Part Time in Braselton, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic retail location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the premises to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors, employees, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the retail location.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related concerns encountered during the shift.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
