Este puesto de tiempo completo es ideal para un profesional de la educación en la primera infancia que comprenda las necesidades únicas del desarrollo de los niños pequeños y que tenga la habilidad de crear un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro, tranquilo y estimulante. El/la Maestro/a Principal será responsable de diseñar e implementar experiencias curriculares apropiadas para el desarrollo, fomentar el crecimiento social y emocional, y colaborar estrechamente con las familias para brindar a cada niño una rutina diaria constante, amorosa y de apoyo. Duties
- Oversee and manage the daily classroom schedule for our toddler (ages 12 - 36 month)
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons and sensory-rich activities
- Foster social and emotional growth through warm, responsive interactions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized learning environment
- Supervise, mentor, and support assistant teachers in the classroom
- Communicate consistently with families using Brightwheel for daily updates
- Ensure proper diapering, feeding, and hygiene routines are followed
- Observe, track, and document children’s developmental progress and milestones
- Adhere to all licensing requirements, center policies, and health and safety guidelines
- Must be 18 years or older
- CDA in Infant/Toddler Care or higher or currently enrolled in the class
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children under 2 - 3 years old
- Must pass a DECAL fingerprint background check and health screening
- CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before start date)
- Strong understanding of toddler development and positive behavior guidance
- Ability to lift 30–40 lbs, sit on the floor, and engage in active play
- Reliable, professional, and committed to maintaining a safe, loving classroom
- Comfortable to learn our childcare portal
- Spanish speaking - A plus not required
- Debe tener 18 años o más
- CDA en Cuidado Infantil/Bebés y Niños Pequeños o nivel superior, o estar actualmente inscrito/a en el programa
- Mínimo de 1 año de experiencia trabajando con niños menores de 2 a 3 años
- Debe aprobar una verificación de antecedentes con huellas dactilares de DECAL y un examen de salud
- Certificación vigente en RCP y Primeros Auxilios (o disposición para obtenerla antes de la fecha de inicio)
- Sólido conocimiento del desarrollo de los niños pequeños y de estrategias de disciplina positiva
- Capacidad para levantar entre 30 y 40 libras, sentarse en el piso y participar en juegos activos
- Persona confiable, profesional y comprometida con mantener un aula segura y amorosa
- Comodidad para aprender y utilizar nuestro portal de cuidado infantil
- Hablar español es una ventaja, pero no es un requisito
