Bidding Clerk (Ball Ground)

TRC Talent is looking for an Office Admin for our client in Ball Ground, GA!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Admin to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling government bids, vendor coordination, and managing contracts and orders for military, federal, and local government projects. This role will require strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently.

Job details:

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: $22/hr
Fully on-site

Responsibilities:

• Browse government websites to select bids for products.
• Submit bids for products (training provided).
• Proactively search for new opportunities with government agencies.
• Maintain and organize all necessary documentation related to bids, contracts, and orders.
• Solicit new business with military, federal, and local government entities.
• Understand and navigate government procurement processes.
• Expedite Navy and government orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Contact vendors to request quotes and negotiate prices for products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both customers and vendors.
• Review government contracts in detail to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in using online platforms.
• High school diploma required; relevant experience or certifications in procurement or government contracting is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
