As a Ground Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tree care crew, ensuring efficient and safe operations on the ground. Responsibilities Maintain required physical fitness to perform job duties effectively. Safely operate equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, stump grinders, and skid steers. Learn and apply necessary arborist knots for tying and untying. Control lowering ropes and supply tools for tree climbers aloft. Move tree limbs and debris from the worksite to the chipper and trailer. Manage pedestrian, road, and sidewalk traffic as needed. Maintain an organized and safe jobsite. Adhere to all safety and tree care standards outlined by company policy and ANSI. Perform routine equipment maintenance. Communicate effectively and work safely with other crew members. Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in tree care operations with references. Ability to maintain a driver's license. Compensation Compensation is dependent on experience.
