TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a Polysomnographer for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The Polysomnographer will perform sleep studies to diagnose and monitor patients with sleep disorders , ensuring accurate data collection and patient comfort throughout the testing process. This role requires technical expertise in sleep monitoring equipment, strong patient care skills, and adherence to regulatory standards .

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight, daytime, and home sleep studies as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and maintain polysomnographic (PSG) and related monitoring equipment .
• Apply and adjust electrodes, sensors, and CPAP/BiPAP devices as needed.
• Monitor and record patient sleep patterns, respiratory functions, and other physiological data .
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports for physicians .
• Educate patients on sleep disorders, testing procedures, and treatment options .
• Ensure compliance with AASM, HIPAA, and facility protocols .
• Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Polysomnographic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or related field .
• Certification: RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sleep studies .
• Skills: Strong technical knowledge of PSG equipment, patient care, and data interpretation .
• Travel Readiness: Willingness to take on travel assignments .
