We are a small business with a broad network of contacts seeking a skilled Gas Fitter to handle residential and commercial gas systems. The ideal candidate will work on small-scale installations and maintenance projects, using specialized gas fitting and standard hand tools. This role requires strong troubleshooting abilities and the capacity to work independently or with a small team.
Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial gas systems
- Perform routine system maintenance and leak detection
- Troubleshoot gas system issues efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service during visits
- Use specialized gas fitting and standard hand tools safely
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in gas fitting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of gas piping installation
- Compliance with safety standards
- Experience with gas detection tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina for manual work
