Building Maintenance
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team in Lagrange, GA, 30240. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for all employees and visitors. If you have a knack for fixing things and a passion for maintaining high standards, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Address and resolve maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Conduct repairs on equipment and fixtures as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
- Assist with facility upgrades and renovations as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve overall facility operations.
- Document maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
