Referral Coordinator
shift: First
work hours: 8:30 AM - 5 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Referral & Authorization Management: Initiate, process, and track medical referrals and prior authorizations specifically for total joint and hip procedures.
Inbound Communications: Manage a high-volume inbound phone queue, assisting patients, providers, and clinical staff with inquiries related to referral statuses and authorization guidelines.
Research & Resolution: Thoroughly investigate and resolve complex authorization requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational and insurance standards.
Documentation: Accurately document all interactions, referral statuses, and authorization details within the designated electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Skills
