Order Entry Clerk
This is a remote position.
Champion Physical Therapy is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Entry Clerk to support our administrative and operational functions across our outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in processing orders, coordinating with clinical teams, and ensuring seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently enter patient orders into practice management or order management systems.
Ensure all order information—such as patient details, product or service specifications, billing codes, and delivery instructions—is complete and accurate.
Collaborate with therapists, administrative staff, and external vendors to verify order details and resolve discrepancies.
Monitor the status of orders—from initiation through to fulfillment—and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders.
Maintain clear, organized records of all order transactions and support ad hoc reporting needs.
Support billing and claims processing by ensuring accurate data capture and liaising with billing staff when necessary.
Assist with documentation audits and quality control activities to uphold standards of accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline order workflows.
Requirements
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Effective written and verbal communication, particularly when coordinating with team members and external contacts.
Comfortable working with electronic systems—such as order management or practice management software—and standard office tools.
Reliable, accountable, and able to operate both independently and collaboratively.
Prior experience in healthcare, billing, or order processing is a plus.
