Central Baptist Church (CBC) is seeking a highly skilled and ministry-minded Media Director to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a creative leader who loves the Lord, values teamwork, and is passionate about using media to advance the Gospel.
About the Role
As Media Director, you’ll lead and coordinate all aspects of our media ministry. From creating impactful video and audio productions, to shaping our digital presence, to equipping a team of talented volunteers—you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that CBC communicates with excellence both inside and outside the walls of our church.
You’ll work closely with our pastors, worship team, and ministry leaders to bring vision to life through audio, video, lighting, and digital platforms. This role blends hands-on creativity with leadership, strategy, and heart for ministry.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee all video production (live and post-production)
· Manage and grow CBC’s social media, website, and mobile app presence
· Lead and train a team of audio, video, and lighting volunteers
· Provide technical and creative support for worship services and events
· Collaborate with pastors and ministries to communicate effectively
· Create recap videos, upload services, and assist with podcasts
· Help shape and manage the media ministry budget
· Serve as first-level IT response and manage helpdesk tickets for church staff and ministries
· Provide support at worship rehearsals and special events
Qualifications
· Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
· Strong knowledge of audio, video, and lighting technologies
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (or similar software), ProPresenter, Grand MA3 (or similar software)
· Detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred (but not required)
· Seminary or Bible College degree
· Experience in church ministry
· Skills in graphic design, web design, or photography
· Background in project and workflow management, specifically Monday.com
· Familiar with Planning Center online
