Extrusion Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Various shifts available ( Monday through Friday from 11:30pm to 07:30am )

3rd Shift Extrusion-

Extrusion operators typically work in industrial manufacturing settings, often with rotating shifts, including weekends and nights

Identifying and solving problems in the production process Ensuring that the created products meet the required specifications Managing crew resources Operating additional equipment like forklifts, high lifts and scaffolding Replacing defective, broken or expired machinery components Determining procedures for setting up equipment Interpreting blueprints and diagrams to select and position machines

Extrusion Qualifications:

Machine Operation: Set up and run extrusion machines, including die changes and screw adjustments. Production Monitoring: Monitor and adjust controls for temperature, pressure, and, in some cases, material feed, ensuring constant, high-quality output. Material Management: Load raw materials, such as pellets or powder, into hoppers. Quality Control: Perform regular inspections on products for flaws, using tools like calipers and micrometer gauges, as described in the Extrusion Manufacturing Operator Job Description. Maintenance & Safety: Perform minor repairs, clean machinery, and follow safety procedures, such as wearing protective equipment.
