Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. License: GA or Compact RN License required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required. Must-Have: Candidates must have the required clinical experience. Description: The Emergency Department seeks an experienced registered nurse. This position requires a strong background in emergency nursing. Candidates must have experience in managing critical patients. The unit does not accept first-time travelers. Candidates are required to have experience with relevant certifications. The nurse will be expected to float within the facility as needed. Weekends will be covered every other week. The nurse must work during designated holidays if assigned. Compliance with onboarding requirements is essential for timely start. Candidates must complete all core compliance documents by the deadline. Non-billable orientation hours will be factored into the assignment. The facility manages a diverse patient demographic, including various age groups. Interdisciplinary support is available across multiple specialties. Familiarity with charting systems is crucial for patient care. The nurse will be responsible for managing arterial lines and ventilated patients. Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and perform triage is necessary. The patient ratio is typically 4:1.
