Coating Operator III
- Must be able to "A" clean spray nozzle by dismantling, thorough cleaning to remove residual impurities and re-assemble. (Performed before changeover of different product or different color, not a daily routine operation)
- Must be able to Calibrate spray pump before starting new batch. Check Calibration status of all machine, and equipment. (Takes more time in Hauppauge Plant as there are seven Coating Pans 48" in One Room and 3 Pans 60" in other Rooms), ( In Brookhaven Plant, One Pan per Room)
- Responsible for proper data entry in all coating use log book
- Perform batch record completion 100 % accurate, online and provide to next department/ Q.A. audit on time.
- Must inform engineering on Dust Collector clean up to maintain required exhaust air pressure.
- Identification of Status by label of material and room during process, Checking of Batch before Start and entry in the coating room.
- Must check coating nozzles / Piping / Air pressure and temperature Recorder in/out before start of the batch.
- Must make sure compressed air filter located on the machine does not have any water
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School or GED General HS Curriculum - Preferred
- With HS/GED 5 years of Experience in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Experience
- Less than HS/GED 6 years proven related experience in Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing environment.
- Required to read, write, and communicate in English - Advanced
- High school level math and mechanical skills - Advanced
- Flexible to work extended hours when required - Advanced
- Ability to work as part of a team - Advanced
- Attention to detail and accuracy - Advanced
- Excellent Coating Equipment and Process knowledge
