Lead Line Cook

White Oak is seeking experienced Lead Line Cooks to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for cooks who thrive in a fast-paced, professional kitchen, take pride in execution, and are ready to step into a leadership position on the line.
Our cuisine celebrates the intersection of Southern American soul and Southern European technique, emphasizing scratch cooking, thoughtful sourcing, and disciplined execution.
What You’ll DoLead your station during service with consistency, speed, and precision
Execute dishes to spec with strong attention to flavor, plating, and timing
Support and guide line cooks during service and prep
Assist with training, station setup, and daily prep organization
Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards at all times
Communicate clearly with chefs and FOH during service
Help uphold a calm, focused, and professional kitchen environment
3-5+ years of experience as a line cook in a high-volume or chef-driven kitchen
Prior leadership or lead-station experience strongly preferred
Strong knife skills and solid understanding of classic cooking techniques
Ability to work clean, organized, and under pressure
Team-first mindset with a positive, accountable attitude
Passion for food, hospitality, and continuous improvement
Chef-led kitchen with clear standards and structure
Scratch cooking and thoughtful menu execution
