IP Docketing Clerk
Connect Staffing seeks an experienced IP Docketing Clerk for an opportunity with a mid-sized law firm in Atlanta, GA. This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the intellectual property docketing system and ensuring all deadlines are met.
Direct-hire and contract-to-hire candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and process incoming correspondence from the USPTO and other intellectual property offices.
Enter and update deadlines, filings, and related information in the docketing system.
Monitor and track upcoming deadlines, proactively communicating with attorneys and staff.
Generate reports and assist with database integrity.
Support attorneys and staff with docketing-related inquiries.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of IP docketing experience in a law firm or corporate environment.
Experience with Foundation IP preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
