TE Certified is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting department. We are an established 20-year-old Home Services Company with exciting growth opportunities for the right candidate!

The ideal candidate will assist in the overall success of the accounting department, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the overall financial health of the company. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement and professional development. Experience with Accounts Payable, Cost of Goods Sold, Inventory Management, Service Titan, Excel, and QuickBooks Desktop is preferred. Experience working with a home service or improvement type company (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.) is a plus! Must be able to commute to Kennesaw, GA daily.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Controller (as needed) in overseeing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP).
• Reconcile complex accounts and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist (as needed) in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning/analytics.
• Other bookkeeping and administrative tasks, as necessary.

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
