Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in ICU/IMCU with a neuro focus, including neuro checks and status monitoring
- Monitor neurological status, document changes, and respond to clinical events in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and operate or oversee ventilation and hemodynamic support as assigned
- Assist with procedures and equipment management (lines, pumps, monitoring devices) while ensuring patient safety and infection control
- Collaborate with physicians, neuro ICU colleagues, and step-down staff; participate in rounds and discharge planning as appropriate
- Provide patient and family education within scope of practice and support a smooth transition across units when floating is required

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia; Nursys license verification
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/Neuro ICU experience; strong neuro experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts (12-hour) and participate in a 2x3 rotation; willingness to travel for an assignment
- Certification Card and relevant certifications as required; unit expects demonstrated neuro proficiency
- Experience working in ICU and IMCU environments with anticipated unit floating between ICU and step-down areas
- Education and licensure aligned with state board requirements; documentation available for credentialing
