Offshore Accounts Payable & Payroll Administrator

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable & Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team offshore. This role will handle payroll processing and accounts payable functions remotely, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments to both employees and vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work across time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

· Process payroll for employees accurately and on schedule, including hours, salaries, deductions, and benefits.

· Maintain payroll records for new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments.

· Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations.

· Prepare payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts.

· Respond to employee payroll inquiries professionally and promptly.

Accounts Payable

· Review, code, and process vendor invoices.

· Match invoices to purchase orders/receipts and resolve discrepancies.

· Process weekly payments (checks, ACH, wires).

· Maintain vendor database, including W-9s and banking details.

· Reconcile AP accounts and support month-end close.

· Communicate with vendors to resolve payment issues.

General Support

· Assist with reconciliations, journal entries, and audit documentation.

· Follow company policies and internal controls.

· Collaborate with Finance and HR teams remotely.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field (preferred).

·2–4 years of combined payroll and accounts payable experience ( U.S. payroll experience strongly preferred ).

· Proficiency with payroll and accounting software (QuickBooks, ADP, BBHR).

· Strong Microsoft Excel and data entry skills.

· Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

· High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

· Ability to work U.S. business hours or provide significant overlap.

Work Environment

· Remote, offshore position.

· Reports to the U.S.-based Accounting Manager/Finance Director.

· Must ensure reliable internet connection and secure workspace to handle confidential data.

Compensation & Benefits

· Paid training during the first 3 months.

· Compensation: $500 – $1,000 per month , based on experience and performance.

· Opportunity to grow within the Finance team and take on expanded responsibilities over time.
