Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mobile HVAC Tech to join our team, responsible for maintaining and repairing building systems across multiple facilities. You will operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring they meet the required standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair building systems, including mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire/life safety, and controls.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Travel between facilities to monitor and maintain equipment performance.
- Oversee inventory, purchasing, and contractor work quality.
- Maintain HVAC systems through cleaning, calibration, and part replacement.
- Record operational readings and make necessary adjustments.
- Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory.
- Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.
- Comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in work areas.
Essential Skills
- Five years of experience in maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- EPA 608 Type II Certification (Universal preferred).
- Working knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial building systems maintenance and repair.
- Preferred: Two years of trade schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
- Experience working with bank locations is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems ranging from 5-15 tons.

Work Environment
This position involves traveling to various facilities, with a provided company car. You will have the opportunity to work at over 1,200 facilities across the U.S., offering potential for travel once permanent. The standard work hours are 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday, with no on-call duties. A clean and safe workplace is maintained, complying with all safety procedures.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $33.00/hr.
