Director of Operations
The Director of Operations is a key member of the team, responsible for optimizing agency processes, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and mentorship. This role ensures our people, systems, and workflows are aligned to deliver high-quality work efficiently and profitably across all aspects of the business.
Operational Strategy & Execution
- True financial oversight and collaboration within the agency.
- Assess current workflows and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency,
scalability, and effectiveness. - Develop and implement new processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations
across departments. - Partner with department heads to align resources, budgets, and timelines to agency
goals. - Partner with senior leadership to establish growth goals for new business, organic or net new.
- Contribute to long-term business planning and forecasting to ensure sustainable agency expansion.
- Champion best practices that promote accountability, transparency, and operational
clarity.
Account:
- Work closely with the experiential account management team to understand their clients at a high level, but more importantly, get to know them as people in order to help them develop their financial management skills and operational efficiency.
- Help strategically grow existing accounts through mentorship and participation in the
financial health of accounts.
Operations:
- Oversee operations team and establish work flows, find efficiencies, etc.
- Work with the Director of Delivery and Director of Experiential Production (and others within the org as needed) to develop and roll out best process/ways of working for efficient and Impactful work flows.
Production:
- Work closely with the Director of Experiential to help guide internal process enhancements that could improve vendor relations and work flows internally with production staff, as well as freelance staff
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- 15+ years experience across Accounts and/or Operations, ideally having had a few years’ experience at the Director level
- Experience In an agency environment
- Proven track record of developing systems and processes that improve efficiency and scalability.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting, and collaborating with team leads to achieve financial success
- Collaboration at the heart of what you do
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communicator who works well and thrives in a team environment
- Ability to action work streams in practice, not just theory
- Proven experience and ability to work within existing company operating systems as well as establish new ones
