Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role is available for the 20252026 school year in Jefferson County, Georgia, providing district-wide services across multiple school buildings. This position primarily serves elementary students, with some older students placed in self-contained classrooms, offering a diverse and engaging pediatric caseload.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech and language therapy aligned with IEP goals and state/federal regulations
• Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborating with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
• Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
• Participating in IEP meetings with professional input
• Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports
• Facilitating generalization of communication skills across various settings

Qualifications sought:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Georgia SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; clinical fellows with strong pediatric experience will also be considered
• Prior school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Capacity to manage a district-wide caseload across multiple locations

This is a contract position with pay starting at $50 per hour, commensurate with experience and educational background. Dual-language candidates will receive additional consideration.
