Job Title: Material Handler Job Description

The Material Handler II plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely delivery to required areas. This position involves both physical and systematic material movements, and requires generating and processing work orders through an ERP system.

• Perform material movements both physically and systematically.
• Generate work orders from an ERP system.
• Process work order receipts in the ERP system.
• Conduct cycle counting as required.
• Maintain a neat and safe work environment.
• Assist in the coordination and flow of products through manufacturing and assembly.
• Work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Handle chemicals in certain areas, with proper training provided.
• Work overtime as necessary to meet business needs.
• Support company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
• Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain positive and cooperative communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Experience in materials handling.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for generating and processing work orders.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to handle chemicals with provided training.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.

The role involves working in a manufacturing and assembly environment, with a focus on maintaining safety and compliance with regulatory standards. Employees are expected to dress appropriately for a warehouse setting, with safety gear provided where necessary. The position may require handling chemicals in some areas, with training provided to ensure safe practices.

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
