Job Description

Join our team for a six-month assignment to paint newly installed conveyors at a distribution center. This role requires an individual with proficiency in painting industrial equipment and structures, ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Paint newly installed conveyors at the distribution center with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with welders and other team members, ensuring seamless workflow and adherence to deadlines.
• Utilize scissor lifts safely and effectively to reach various heights and angles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following lean manufacturing practices.
• Handle materials and equipment safely, adhering to all OSHA guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Experience in painting industrial equipment and structures.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to painting tasks.
• Scissor lift experience.
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment functionality and maintenance needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to bend and reach low places.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing practices.

Work Environment

The role is based in a UPS warehouse, with a standard start time of 7 am for typically eight-hour days. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines. The environment is fast-paced and requires working closely behind welders, emphasizing safety and precision.

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
