Chiropractic Office Assistant

We are hiring a Chiropractic Assistant to manage the front desk and other administrative aspects of the office.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The duties of this position include:

· Opening the front desk and preparing the office for the day

· Communicating with practice members in person, on the phone, and via email and text.

· Managing schedule for doctors and case managers

· Reconciling service codes and transactions for each shift

· Preparing appointments for the next day

· Scheduling appointments

· Processing financial transactions and reconciling accounts

· Managing the office's text communication software

· External marketing and education at community events and organizations

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

Education & Work Experience

· 3-5 years of experience in administrative assistance, healthcare, customer service, or similar positions.

· High school diploma PLUS education beyond high school, which may include a college degree or professional/technical certifications that relate to this position.

· Experience in delivering a high-quality customer-driven experience.

· Ability maintain efficient processes, systems, and operations in a dynamic team environment.

· Proficient using Microsoft Office applications and able to learn other computerized software applications, including electronic health records.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree.

· Fluency in conversational Spanish (able to speak, read, and write).

· Knowledge of HIPAA and medical privacy rules/regulations.

· Knowledge/interest in natural/complimentary health & wellness.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
