The Interview Specialist conducts the first six (6) steps of the Express Employment Selection Process via the telephone (or sometimes in person). The initial telephone interview is designed to improve the applicant experience and help great candidates start the Express application process. This process is designed to create an excellent applicant experience at Express! This is the first step to becoming a recruiter! If you have what it takes to hustle, grind, and WIN then come in dressed to impress and bring your resume.

The Interview Specialist must possess strong conversational and typing skills. In addition, strong phone, typing, and interpersonal skills are essential.

Job duties and requirements:

• Create a professional first impression for all telephone (and electronic) inquiries.
• Provide a positive experience for the job seeker to assist them in finding meaningful employment
• Handle all contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
• Interview applicants immediately over the telephone.
• Schedule the applicant to come into the office to complete the hiring process.
• Review online applications and respond to all as directed.
• Research community activities to develop awareness of the local labor market, recruiting opportunities, social media, and industry trends.
• Post our job openings immediately upon notification of the opening
• Respond to applicants immediately to clear them for a new position or to turn them down
