OB/GYN Trained Medical Assistants needed in Sandy Springs

Exceptional Recruiting is seeking a trained Medical Assistant to join highly reputable OB/GYN practice in Sandy Springs,

***Direct hire with excellent benefits package!****

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care to Obstetrics and Gynecology patients in a clinic environment.
• Provide care which could include vitals, taking patient histories, calling in prescriptions, obtaining prior authorizations, referrals, responding to phone and email messages, setting up for/assisting with procedures such as Pap tests, Colposcopies, IUD insertions, etc
• Provide all patients with high quality customer service and compassionate care regardless of socioeconomic and racial background
• Communicate with physicians, management, and staff members to ensure proper flow of business throughout the workday
• Proactively resolve issues and patient concerns
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with ECW and OB/GYN experience preferred, but not required
• Must have completed an Externship and Medical Assisting certification program
• Strong communication skills with urgency and an ability to build rapport with patients, parents, staff, medical providers, and management teams
• Solid references, solid work ethic & attendance, reliability, and longevity on past positions
• Some travel to other clinic locations may be required to ensure proper staffing levels
• Ability to work proactively in a team oriented and fast paced work environment,
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills required

Pay depends upon experience: $19.00-$23.50/hr to start
