Quest Group is looking for Paralegal/Legal Assistant with DEFENSE medical malpractice experience to join our highly respected Client that has been around for over 30 years!
*(Not interested in seeing anyone coming from the Plaintiff side)
This person will work with two partners handling civil litigation in state and federal courts.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Preparing, finalizing, and efiling correspondence and pleadings to clients, courts, and third parties
- Organize, scan, index, and maintain all correspondence
- Client intake
- Assist with trial prep
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 to 5 years recent defense litigation experience.
- Med-mal experience required.
- The ideal candidate will need to have litigation experience and be detail-oriented with stellar organizational, typing and interpersonal skills.
- Imanage experience is a plus.
- This candidate also will need to have experience with electronic filing with all courts.
- Trial experience not required
*IF Paralegal will just need to be ok doing some of the admin work that is usually given to the legal assistant.
HOURS:
In office 5 days a week, 8:30-5 or 9 to 4:30
