Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Salary:
$105,000–$125,000 (commensurate with experience)

Job Summary:
A pediatric outpatient practice is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care to patients from infancy through young adulthood (under 21 years of age). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric primary care, including well-child visits, sick visits, physical exams, and the management of both acute and chronic conditions. This role emphasizes compassionate, family-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including well-child visits, sick visits, school and sports physicals

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses (e.g., cough, flu, infections) and manage chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes

• Prescribe medications and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests

• Provide preventive care, including immunizations, developmental screenings, and anticipatory guidance

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans

• Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR system (AdvancedMD) within 48 hours of each visit

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care

Qualifications:

• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a pediatric clinical setting

• Active and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Georgia

• Strong clinical knowledge of pediatric acute and chronic care management

• Experience with EMR systems; AdvancedMD experience preferred

• Bilingual skills are a plus

• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient-care skills

This pediatric outpatient practice is opening a new facility in Stonecrest, GA, with an anticipated opening timeframe of mid to late January.
