Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within the facility, ensuring that all machinery and equipment are functioning efficiently and effectively. This role plays a vital part in minimizing downtime, improving maintenance processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards, particularly in the meat processing and food manufacturing sectors.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely and quality maintenance of all equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs with internal and external resources as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance management, preferably in the meat processing or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with troubleshooting machinery and equipment.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Benefits
Annual Compensation: $85k/year - $135k/year
