Sales Specialist
Summary
The Sales Specialist plays a critical role in nurturing leads and managing the sales pipeline for specific territories, primarily through outbound telephone calls. This position involves building strong relationships with prospects and qualifying leads throughout the sales funnel. Success in this role requires being highly driven, goal-oriented, curious, and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment while effectively meeting daily activity goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of products, value propositions, and market positioning.
- Create a targeted outbound sales plan based on specific financial institution profiles and titles.
- Timely follow up on and qualify inbound leads sourced from the marketing team.
- Engage daily with leads to assess their goals, current status in the buying process, and purchasing power.
- Achieve sales targets and lead conversion rate objectives as set by management.
Requirements
- Familiarity with marketing and CRM platforms is advantageous.
- Proven ability to stay focused on tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Knowledge of outbound communication best practices and a proactive approach to industry changes.
- Strong analytical skills for monitoring data capture and leveraging reporting tools to track performance.
- Ability to effectively communicate the value proposition both in writing and verbally.
- Capable of clarifying complex concepts and ideas clearly and concisely, utilizing excellent presentation and communication skills (in-person and over the phone).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
