Position Overview:

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) , you will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US market, drive company growth, and support the development of a dedicated US team for the HK.Systems group. This is a strategic role with the potential to grow into a VP function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive company growth
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Manage the full business development cycle, from prospecting and proposal creation to contract negotiation and closing
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams in Germany and the US
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential sectors
• Manage customer care and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
• Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels
• Monitor competitors and industry developments to refine positioning and strategy

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Communications or related field
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B environments
• Strong ability to structure and close complex deals with multiple stakeholders
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in relevant industries
• Strong knowledge of Med-Tech, Mining, Sensors, Aviation, Semiconductor, or related sectors is a plus
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, German language knowledge and intercultural experience a plus
• Strategic thinking and ability to develop growth plans
• Willingness to travel as required
