Travel Registered Nurse OR Job
Registered Nurse, OR (Perioperative) – Austell, Georgia. Start date 05/11/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Pay range $1,772–$1,884 per week. Guaranteed hours 0.0. Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts. This travel assignment takes place in a hospital setting. The perioperative team delivers patient care aligned with professional practice models and ethics, with responsibilities that span the preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative periods. RNs must practice in compliance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics. As a member of the patient services team, you will uphold the voice of the patient and support service excellence within established policies and procedures. Key Highlights

- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients across the pre-op, intraoperative, and post-anesthesia recovery continuum.
- Maintain a sterile field, assist the surgical team, monitor patient status, and manage equipment and supplies during procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, circulating nurses, and other perioperative staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Prepare patients for procedures, position them appropriately, document intraoperative events, and communicate needs to the recovery team.
- Uphold patient advocacy, privacy, and dignity; adhere to evidence-based practice and institutional policies, including the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and postoperative plans; participate in post-operative handoffs and quality improvement initiatives. Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Perioperative nursing experience or OR exposure preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced OR environment and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient safety, accurate documentation, and compliance with professional standards
- Ability to work in a hospital-based perioperative setting
