Your impact

We are looking for a Project Coordinator in the Atlanta, GA area. You will assist the resident engineer with contract administration duties in the field and office, to include but not limited to site walks, project meetings, processing submittals, pay applications, construction contract changes, punch lists, and closeout activities. Maintain project correspondence and records minutes at meetings.

  • Assist in the evaluation of progress and quality of construction activities in conformance with approved schedules and budgets.
  • Assist Resident Engineer, or direct supervisor, in weekly construction meetings.
  • Participate on site walks with resident engineer and other staff/managers/stakeholders.
  • Track and document project progress, monitor milestones and deliverables to ensure the project stays on schedule and within scope.
  • Develop presentation and visual materials; create clear and effective presentations, graphics, and reports to communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with user groups; collaborate with end-user groups to align project goals with user requirements and expectations.
  • Provide administrative support; assist with administrative tasks, including documentation, scheduling and reporting.
  • Review drawings and revisions to drawings. Use drawings to verify work carried out in the field.
  • Review technical specifications and contractual documents for the project. Use these specifications and contractual documents to verify work carried out in the field.
  • Review and validate change orders; assist in assessing and validating change orders to ensure they meet project requirements and budget constraints.
  • Facilitate communication between teams; act as a liaison between stakeholders and the construction team to ensure smooth information flow and resolve issues as the arise.
  • Attend project meetings; document meeting minutes; and distribute action items and key decisions to the project team.
  • Other tasks as may be assigned.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field, or minimum 5 years of construction administration experience.
  • Work in a team environment to accomplish shared project goals. Able to work in a matrix organization with personnel from various organizations and roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Suites, specifically MS TEAMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of, or exposure to, project management software such as PMWeb, Expedition, E-builder, MS Projects, Bluebeam and/or Primavera.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, stakeholders, contractors, and other parties.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram/visual form.
  • Ability to read and understand construction documents including plans, specifications and submittal approval documents.
  • Familiarity with, or exposure to, critical path scheduling, construction cost estimating and contract administration.

58,656.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

64,480.00

The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $64,480.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
