Location: 100% Remote

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Database & Data Parsing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our database systems, ensuring efficient data ingestion and parsing processes. This position requires a strong background in Java and MySQL, along with expertise in performance tuning and gateway services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems using MySQL.
• Develop and optimize data ingestion processes to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
• Create and manage data parsing algorithms to interpret and manipulate data efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of database queries to improve system efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and security protocols are adhered to in all database operations.
• Participate in the development of gateway services for data exchange between systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database/ Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong focus on MySQL.
• Proficient in Java programming and familiarity with its frameworks.
• Experience in data ingestion techniques and data parsing methods.
• Knowledge of performance tuning for database systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
