**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
+ Carry and maintain assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.
+ Document all incidents, observations, and activities thoroughly and accurately in daily reports.
+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required by incident or protocol.
+ Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
