Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Used Car Sales Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle sales department. This role is pivotal in driving sales performance, managing inventory, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Oversee the acquisition, pricing, and merchandising of used vehicles to maintain an optimal inventory mix.
- Sales Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Customer Relations: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the department's budget, monitor expenses, and analyze sales metrics to drive profitability.
- Compliance: Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations affecting used vehicle sales and ensure dealership compliance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including finance and service, to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive sales management, particularly in the used car sector.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of automotive financing and warranty products.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
