Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Healthforce by TLC
Lawrenceville, GA
Step into a high-impact role as a Registered Nurse in the ER, Lawrenceville, Georgia, and begin on 03/16/2026 for a dynamic multi-week assignment designed to elevate your acute care expertise while you touch lives with speed, accuracy, and compassion. In the fast-paced environment of the emergency department, you’ll rely on your clinical prowess, critical thinking, and calm leadership to triage rapidly, stabilize patients in crisis, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes. This opportunity not only strengthens your skills in trauma, shock protocols, and rapid patient assessment but also invites you to envision a broader career path—because you may practice in diverse locations across the United States, expanding your network and sharpening your practice in varied settings.

Location benefits: Lawrenceville sits in the heart of Gwinnett County, just minutes from Atlanta, offering a welcoming community, top-rated schools, vibrant dining and cultural options, and easy access to metropolitan amenities. Georgia itself is a tapestry of experiences—from the scenic trails around Stone Mountain to the historic charm of Savannah and the sun-drenched beaches of the coast. The position presents the best of both worlds: the comfort and support of a community hospital environment in Lawrenceville and the exciting potential to extend assignments to other sites nationwide. You’ll enjoy the advantages of living in a region with strong medical networks, collaborative teams, and opportunities to immerse yourself in different patient populations, all while maintaining a stable schedule that includes guaranteed hours and predictable weekly pay. Whether you’re drawn to Georgia’s southern hospitality, its thriving nightlife and sports culture, or the chance to explore new cities on weekends, this role offers meaningful balance and enriched professional experiences.

Role specifics and benefits:
- Key responsibilities: deliver high-quality emergency care across the full spectrum of acute presentations, including chest pain protocols, stroke activation, trauma resuscitation, septic workups, respiratory distress, neurological concerns, pediatrics, and overdose management. Perform rapid physical assessments, airway management, IV/PO/IM therapies, medication administration, and continuous patient monitoring with telemetry and EKG interpretation. Partner with physicians, techs, social work, and case management to ensure timely diagnostics, accurate documentation, and seamless handoffs. Provide patient and family education, advocate for safety, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance department performance.
- Growth and development: benefit from a pathway of professional growth within the ER specialty, with access to certifications, targeted training, evidence-based practice updates, and mentorship. Expand your skill set through exposure to trauma, critical care scenarios, pediatric emergencies, and disaster response, and pursue opportunities that align with your career goals, including potential leadership or educator roles within travel assignments.
- Compensation and incentives: competitive weekly pay ranging from 1,553 to 1,634, with a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week. The program offers a sign-on or completion bonus, along with housing assistance to ease relocation and travel, ensuring you can focus on patient care. There are extension opportunities for continuing assignments, enabling you to build a robust travel résumé, broaden clinical networks, and deepen your comfort with diverse ED workflows.
- Support and security: you’ll never travel alone. A dedicated travel concierge and clinical liaison provide 24/7 support throughout your assignment, from onboarding and orientation to real-time problem resolution. You’ll also have access to on-call clinical guidance, travel coordination, and extensive resources to ensure your safety, compliance, and well-being while you travel or extend to new assignments.

Company values: The organization is grounded in empowering its staff through respect, continuous learning, and a culture of collaboration. You’ll find a supportive environment that prioritizes your professional advancement, values your expertise, and backs you with resources that help you excel—from evidence-based practice to ongoing education and career development pathways. This is a place where compassionate patient care meets a commitment to your growth, providing stability, recognition, and opportunities to broaden your impact beyond a single assignment.
