In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining production flow by ensuring materials and products are moved, loaded, and unloaded safely and on time. **What You'll Do** As a Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for more than just moving pallets. You'll be a key player in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting operations by ensuring timely delivery of materials to the right place - all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy. **Key Responsibilities:** + Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials between workstations or storage areas + Load and unload materials at points of origin and destination + Use scanning technology and computers to track inventory movement and update systems + Execute paperwork and administrative tasks associated with shipments and deliveries + Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and work areas + Ensure proper handling and storage of materials in accordance with company standards + Follow all company safety guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements **Qualifications** **Required:** + Valid forklift operator license or certification + Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment + Ability to read, write, and perform basic computer tasks (e.g., using scanners, PCs) + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety + Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed + Flexibility to work varying shifts or overtime as required **Preferred:** + Prior experience handling shipping/receiving paperwork + Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) + Basic understanding of inventory control processes **Why Join Us?** At PDS Tech Commercial, we connect skilled professionals with some of the most respected names in manufacturing.
