Echo Tech in Cardio Services located in Cumming, GA, US. This is a travel - temporary assignment starting 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $1,929 to $1,986. Work four 10-hour shifts per week (0x4 Days), with schedules around 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. starts and varies. The role supports a hospital-based Cardio Services program and requires active engagement with echocardiography exams in a busy cardiology workflow. Key Highlights

- Perform diagnostic echocardiography exams, including transthoracic imaging, following established exam protocols.
- Acquire high-quality cardiac images and measurements; recognize and document exam findings accurately.
- Prepare patients, explain procedures, monitor safety, and ensure patient comfort throughout imaging.
- Enter results and measurements into the Cerner system, coordinating with cardiology and imaging teams.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment; perform routine QC and ensure infection control and safety standards.
- Assist with additional imaging procedures as trained (e.g., stress echo) and respond to urgent requests from the cardiology service.
- Adhere to AHA BLS requirements; maintain current credentials and participate in continuing education as needed.
- Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork within a fast-paced hospital setting; support department goals and patient care standards. Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Echo Tech experience within cardiology or a similar specialty.
- Certifications: Required AHA BLS; RDCS and CCI certification(s) preferred or registry-eligible.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited ultrasound technology program; registry eligibility acceptable with expected certification.
- Documentation: Proficiency with Cerner or equivalent EHR for imaging results and patient records.
- Eligibility to work in the listed location and ability to meet travel assignment requirements; able to work in a hospital environment and adapt to variable schedules.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a team, maintain quality imaging, and uphold patient safety standards. Benefits and Support
