# Internal NotesPhysical Therapist position with Select Medical in College Park, Georgia.Emphasize proximity to downtown Atlanta, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and major highways.Highlight Atlanta metro area amenities: professional sports, arts and culture, diverse dining, and easy access to both urban and suburban living.Select Medical is known nationally for strong clinical programs, evidence-based rehabilitation, clear clinical ladders, and opportunities to grow in specialty practice areas.Required QualificationsCurrent and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Georgia or eligibility to obtain prior to start date.Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent).Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited provider.Prior clinical experience in an outpatient, acute care, or inpatient rehabilitation setting through employment or clinical rotations.Demonstrated proficiency in completing evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions.Ability to effectively use electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation, scheduling, and communication.Strong written and verbal communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.Ability to meet immunization and health requirements in accordance with facility policy and applicable regulations.Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including some evenings or weekends as needed for patient coverage and clinic operations.Preferred QualificationsOne or more years of recent professional experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient, acute, or inpatient rehabilitation environment.Experience working in a high-volume, multidisciplinary therapy setting with diverse adult and geriatric populations.Background in orthopedic, neurologic, or sports rehabilitation programs.Experience with treatment of post-surgical patients, including joint replacements, spine surgery, and other musculoskeletal procedures.Exposure to vestibular rehabilitation, balance and fall prevention, or gait training programs.Comfort with outcome-based care models and familiarity with standardized functional outcome measures.History of collaborating with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists in an interdisciplinary care model.Interest in professional development through continuing education, specialization, or leadership pathways.External Job DetailsThis Physical Therapist opportunity is based in College Park, Georgia, a vibrant community in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
