TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments. This role is ideal for RNs specializing in critical cardiac care, providing treatment to patients with severe heart conditions, and responding to emergencies in a high-acuity setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and specialized care for patients with acute cardiac conditions
- Monitor patients using advanced cardiac equipment and telemetry
- Administer medications, including IV drips, cardiac drugs, and emergency treatments
- Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and healthcare teams
- Assist in cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, stent placements, and post-operative care
- Educate patients and families on heart disease management and recovery plans
- Respond to life-threatening situations, performing ACLS interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in applicable state(s)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CCU, ICU, or Cardiac Care
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and cardiac medications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to travel and work in high-stress environments
