As Grill Cook for Mellow Mushroom St Simons Island, some of Mellow’s most loved dishes will be entrusted to your care to grill, prepare, and plate. Your fluency in fresh, tasty ingredients translates into delicious mouth-watering meals. Your skill at the grill is matched by your Mellow vibe and an innate ability to coordinate with the team and deliver just what the guest asked for and a little bit more. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare the Mellow Mushroom menu; be the master of slicing, chopping, and grilling.
- Possess an impeccable sense of timing, coordinating with other kitchen team members to ensure every table and guest receives orders in a timely fashion.
- Set up workstations with ingredients and cooking equipment; help kitchen staff when requested.
- Help Mellow Mushroom SSI maintain a sanitized, safe, and orderly environment in the kitchen.
- Monitor stock, refill necessary items, and place orders for shortages.
- Be comfortable standing for long periods and lifting heavy items while keeping a positive attitude.
