CDL DRIVER

Randstad is seeking a reliable and safety-driven CDL Driver to join our team for over-the-road deliveries. This position requires consistent travel, with drivers typically spending up to three nights out per week. The assigned truck is equipped with an in-cab sleeper for comfort during overnight trips. salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 6 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform over-the-road deliveries in a timely and professional manner
• Safely operate company equipment and follow all DOT regulations
• Properly secure loads to ensure safe transport
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery and log records

Schedule & Travel:

• Over-the-road routes
• Approximately 3 nights out per week

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $50-55K
• $50 per day per diem for overnight travel

Requirements:

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
• Experience securing loads preferred
• strong commitment to safety and reliability
• Ability to travel and stay overnight as required

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs

Skills

• CDL (2 years of experience is required)
• forklift driver (3 years of experience is preferred)
• flat bed Driver (3 years of experience is required)
• Good MVR
