Histology Technician or Supervisor (2nd Shift) Opening in Southeast Georgia

Permanent full-time position 2nd shift, Sun-Thurs 10:00pm-6:30am Some of the Job Duties

Embeds a minimum of 50 large or 30 small or multiple blocks per hour of embedding time, sections a minimum of 35 blocks per hour. Persistent sectioning at 4-5 microns, with artifact free sections. Recuts on request Performs QC/QA documentation as required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred ASCP certification in Histology Maintains appropriate continuing education for certification and to increase basic knowledge Previous supervisory experience preferred

This position is with a private laboratory located in Southeast Georgia- only 1 hour from Jacksonville, FL and 1.5 hours from Savannah, GA! This position comes with full benefits.
