Job Description
We’re seeking an applicant with experience in US Personal Injury or Workman’s Compensation to support our legal team in handling plaintiff-side Personal Injury and Workman’s Compensation cases from intake through resolution. You’ll play a key role in keeping cases moving, clients informed, and attorneys prepared. You will do fulfilling work, knowing you made a difference for those injured.
What you will do
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents
Organize medical records, bills, and case documentation
Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries for attorney review
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Assist with settlement demands, trial prep, and case deadlines
Manage correspondence and ensure timely responses to inquiries
What we're looking for
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in personal injury or workman’s compensation at a US law firm
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and case management practices
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities with accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work remotely, independently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, reliable, and client-centric mindset
A tireless advocate for the rights of those injured
