Shipping and Receiving Associate
1st shift position
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
- Pulling orders and preparing for shipment to customers.
- Weighing and packing orders.
- Printing labels and shipping orders via UPS, DHL, and FEDEX system, ensuring accuracy.
- Hand stack orders on pallets.
- Ability to use a pallet jack and forklifts (Standup type and Sit-down type).
- Loading and unloading of containers and trucks.
- Verifying and signing for incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy.
- Daily count of inventory as well as end-of-year inventory.
- Data entry.
- Maintain proper amount of shipping supplies.
- Ensure racks/storage areas are neat and organized.
- General cleaning of work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least 1 year of forklift experience.
- Basic Math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Prior experience with UPS and FEDEX, or DHL software.
- Efficient in basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of organization and urgency.
- Able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Ability to lift and stack boxes.
- Walking and standing for long periods of time.
