Pay: $24.00/hour
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of signage projects from initial award through final installation and closeout. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, driving accountability, communication, and execution across all phases.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Manage multiple signage projects simultaneously, including architectural signage, ADA signage, wayfinding systems, and custom fabrication.
Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure full project understanding and compliance.
Develop project timelines, schedules, and milestones.
Coordinate permitting requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary liaison between clients, general contractors, architects, and internal teams.
Maintain consistent communication regarding project status, updates, and potential issues.
Manage expectations and proactively resolve concerns.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Source and procure materials, subcontractors, and signage components.
Coordinate with fabricators, installers, and suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Negotiate pricing and manage vendor performance.
Production & Installation Oversight
Work closely with shop supervisors and production teams to ensure accurate fabrication.
Coordinate installation schedules and site readiness.
Conduct site visits when necessary to verify progress and quality.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring profitability targets are met.
Track costs, approve invoices, and manage change orders.
Ensure timely billing and collections in coordination with accounting.
Quality Control & Compliance
Ensure all signage meets design specifications, brand standards, and code requirements (including ADA compliance).
Review submittals, shop drawings, and samples prior to production.
Maintain high standards for workmanship and final deliverables.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain organized project files, including contracts, drawings, permits, and correspondence.
Provide regular status reports to leadership.
Track and document project changes, delays, and risk factors.
Problem Solving & Risk Management
Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Resolve field issues, design conflicts, and installation challenges quickly and effectively.
Maintain accountability across all stakeholders to keep projects on track.

Occasional travel to job sites may be required.
