As a **Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrols Full-Time** in **Alpharetta, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting thorough patrols throughout a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence will help maintain a secure environment while you interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues within the tech, media, or telecom location.
+ Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity throughout the assigned area.
+ Document and report any incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
+ Collaborate with other Allied Universal staff and/or client personnel to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
+ Support site-specific protocols related to the technology, media, or telecom environment as needed.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
