Job Summary: Exciting new opportunity to start andto join an innovative, community-based behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disabilities services organization located in South Georgia.Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300 direct-care and support staff. Georgia Pines Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD) departmentis currently seekinga real leader, someone who has the passion, commitment, talent, and ability to work collaboratively with their peersto continue to advance the mission and vision of the organization. The selected applicant will have the pleasure of providingdirect nursing care to injured, ill, convalescent or disabled individuals. Assesses client health problems and needs. Develops and implements nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled clients. May advise clients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. This position will also require attention to Teams messages after hours and some flexing to support the nursing needs of the individuals in the program. This position is an integral part of the agency's IDD programand reports directly to the IDD's Nursing Team Leadwith appropriate latitude for utilizing seasoned judgment to accomplish his/her responsibilities. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university OR associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND any related professional work experience.
